Updated on 27 Sept 2009 >> F1 Singapore Grand Prix Race Cars Photos

Managed to catch a glimpse of the inaugural F1 Singapore Grand Prix on TV while I am still in Malaysia! It’s Singapore’s First Grand Prix and the world’s first night race in F1 history. So cool to see the drivers racing against the familiar backdrop of the city at night. It’s a successful event and a big step forward for Formula One to have a night race, bringing the sport in a new direction.

No chance to watch the first F1 night race on the spot but took this F1 Ferrari race car on display at a shopping mall in Singapore.

And this car? Nothing to do with F1… it’s simply a cute little Doraemon car.

It’s such a contrast between those two cars! I’m not sure which one I’d choose….

I watched the race on TV. Singapore appear to have had a really successful first race. A spot of Singapore rain would have made it exciting. Great car photos.

I watched the race live on TV. At least Singapore street race is better than Monaco with more overtaking opportunities. However, the race was marred with freak accidents and unexpected win by Alonso
