Well, Lee. I am not from Taiping either. But I believe you can ask the Perak tourism department for information regarding Taiping historical sites. Since it is named as "Bandar Warisan", I believe there are many spots that became the town's 'heritage'. It would be wise to seek for some info before planning a trip there so it'll be worth while. Of course if we talk about Taiping, the Lake Garden at the foothill of Titiwangsa range is the biggest and best heritage it could offer.
