We went topless … literally, yes!  Four of us went on a joyride to the beach in Oppa Peugeot style!

Getting into the […]

The Exclusive Smoking Area

Someone asked, “Is smoking in public really banned in Singapore? Is there any place you can smoke cigarette in Singapore?”

Smoking is not banned like chewing gum on this island, though there are restricted places for smokers to puff in public areas. See, here is a smoking area, though quite “sad” to see such a small pathetic yellow box for our smoker-friends. :P Anyway, it’s very expensive to buy a packet of cigarettes in Singapore. A box of 10 sticks cost more than S$10. Any idea?

But that’s what I like about Singapore! Air gets “cleaner” nowadays with more smoke-free zones. By reading the list of smoke-free areas below, you know where you can’t smoke now. I really hate inconsiderate people who just can’t wait to smoke during the 1-min of their lifetime while taking the lift. […]

We wish you a Happy New Year and a good start into 2009! So.. how did you spend your new year holiday? Travelling? Big feast? Countdown parties? We didn’t go anywhere in particular but went to our favourite food centre nearby our home and had a heavy dinner. My next line is getting boring! We stayed at home watching countdown variety show on TV, while the clock was ticking away the final minutes of 2008. So don’t expect much from this post, ha! No countdown pictures but pics of delicious Singapore local food!

Yes, they are lip-smacking good!

This little food centre is located in the vicinity of Raffles hostel international at 1 Joo Chiat Place, at the junction of Still Road and Joo Chiat Place, so it’s not difficult to find the place. We frequent to this small food centre as there are plenty of parking lots. It used to be free parking but now we need to pay S$1/hr. […]

X’mas Buffet

2009 is coming… How’s your feeling now? We had a good X’mas lunch buffet at Cafe Brio’s at Grand Copthorne Waterfront hotel, Singapore. It’s a sumptuous meal with a nice spread of international dishes and most importantly, many delicious cakes, pastries, and desserts!

Oysters, hams, turkey meat… and lot of desserts! I took all the macaroons from the top of the cakes and pies too. =P You can see how much I love desserts!

If the gingerbread house was edible, I would give it a bite too!
