Situated in JeJu island in South Korea, this is an exhibition style village that displayed the living environment of Korean folks in the past. The Korea drama “ Da Chang Jin” (Dae Jang Geum / 大長今) had featured JeJu island as one of its famous filming sites.

Traditional Korea dresses- the hanbok. The hanbok shown in this exhibition room have been dressed by actress Lee Young-Ae (李英愛) before.

i was able to watch this korean novela, i never knew that the filming site has been a tourist attraction, thx to u sis.
in the philippines, the koreanovela is entitled “Jewel in the Palace”

I’m a big fan of Dae Jang Geum. It’s a beautiful story. Thanks for your pictures of Jeju Island and the village sets there. I think the Korean hanbok dresses are absolutely lovely, especially as worn by Lee Young Ae. If you visit my blog, you’ll find my review of Dae Jang Geum there.

I’m living in Korea. I’ve been to Jeju so many times, but never get to Dae Jang Geum site. LoL.. Anyway thanks for posting about Macau cause i’m planning to go there soon. Anyway if you have any question about Korea, just let me know…ㅋㅋ
