@meimei: no repeat telecast? Try to view from youtube. I heard a lot of performers are from the army, that’s why they are so synchronized; they had been trained for more than 10 mths.

@Gilbert/Cely: Truly awesome opening. I heard they went through more than 10 months of training, and you know, most male performers (like drumers) are from the army I think. You see they are so well synchronised.

My husband and I watched it. I was AWESOME! It’s a great showdown of China’s talents and technology advancement. It was really very wonderful! Actually we both thought that words were not enough to describe how that event came to reality. It seemed like we were watching a fantasy. We were wondering for how long they practiced all those fantastic performances. It’s hard to choreograph a small group, how much more for 15,000 performers. It was a record!
